Railcar Brakes for Mining Applications

There are three (3) main options we offer for railcar braking applications:

Dynamic Wheel Brakes:

• Dynamic Wheel Brakes are designed to stop the car (dynamic stopping)
• Actuation Options: Hydraulic or Pneumatic
  

  Tripper Rail Clamp

   

Tripper Rail Clamps:

Grip to the rail (most likely not applicable for your application if you are unloading cars.  if it’s on level ground it might be ok).

Actuation Options: Air, Hydraulic, Electric

Wheel Gripper:

to hold the car/grip to the wheel (if unloading cars, this would work well).

Actuation Options: Hydraulic or Pneumatic
